Solar Robot

Program Overview

Where curious kids become robot builders.

In this class, kids stimulate their creativity by designing and building epic, solar-powered robots from easy-to-assemble parts. They learn how solar panels generate electricity and how that energy makes machines move.

They'll also build solar-powered cranes, lift bridges, and many other designs — letting little engineers explore solar energy while learning to problem-solve and stretch their imagination.

What's Inside the Class

What your child will build, learn, and love.

Build a Solar Robot

Design and assemble a working robot powered entirely by the sun — and take it home at the end.

How Solar Powers Motion

Learn how solar panels generate electricity and turn it into movement in real machines.

Cranes & Machines

Go beyond robots: build solar-powered cranes, lift bridges, and other moving designs.

Problem-Solving

Every build is a puzzle. Kids learn to troubleshoot, iterate, and stretch their imagination.

Take It Home

Each child keeps their solar robot to continue experimenting after the class ends.

All Materials Included

Robot kits, tools, and learning materials are all provided — just bring enthusiasm.

From Past Camps

Inside the workshop.

Real campers, real builds. The energy in these rooms is contagious — even the parents stay to watch.

Parent Reviews

From the families who came back.

My daughter came home talking about photovoltaic cells. She's seven. Go Solar! Kidz made science feel like an adventure she wanted to keep going.

Four mornings, four builds, zero meltdowns. The instructors are calm, patient, and clearly love what they do. We've already signed up for next summer.

He's still racing his solar car around the kitchen floor a month later. Worth every dollar and then some — and the take-home project hooked him on engineering.
