This summer, give your child more than just a camp — give them a structured, hands-on solar STEM experience designed to spark curiosity and confidence. GoSolar! Smash Camp 2026 is a full-day, in-house camp for students in grades K–6.
Campers explore engineering, robotics, renewable energy, gardening, and technology through engaging build-based projects and real-world applications.
A full day of solar STEM, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with optional early drop-off and late pick-up for working families.
Build solar cars, fly drones, and engineer working machines powered by the sun.
Grow plants and cook with the sun — hands-on lessons in sustainability and renewable energy.
Campers enjoy a Solar Go-Kart and Solar Olympics field trip, followed by a Solar Video Games graduation and closing celebration.
Campers complete multiple solar projects to take home and keep building on.
Open to all grades K–6 — no prior STEM or robotics experience required.
Monday–Thursday are core STEM camp days — campers rotate through all four of GoSolar! Kidz's most popular themes. Friday experiences include a high-energy field trip in Week 1 and a Solar Video Games graduation finale in Week 2.
Campers design, build, and test solar-powered vehicles and machines while learning the basics of engineering, circuits, and energy transfer.
Campers harness solar heat to grow food and cook — discovering sustainability and renewable energy through delicious, hands-on experiments.
From aerodynamics to renewable power, campers explore how drones work and how solar energy supports modern technology.
Students dive deeper into motion, speed, and design by experimenting with solar racers and go-kart concepts.
My daughter came home talking about photovoltaic cells. She's seven. Go Solar! Kidz made science feel like an adventure she wanted to keep going.
Four mornings, four builds, zero meltdowns. The instructors are calm, patient, and clearly love what they do. We've already signed up for next summer.
He's still racing his solar car around the kitchen floor a month later. Worth every dollar and then some — and the take-home project hooked him on engineering.
Everything below is included in the camp fee:
