Parent Reviews
From the families who came back.
My daughter came home talking about photovoltaic cells. She's seven. Go Solar! Kidz made science feel like an adventure she wanted to keep going.
Four mornings, four builds, zero meltdowns. The instructors are calm, patient, and clearly love what they do. We've already signed up for next summer.
He's still racing his solar car around the kitchen floor a month later. Worth every dollar and then some — and the take-home project hooked him on engineering.
Got Questions?
Frequently asked.
What is the Solar Go Karts Race special event?
It's a hands-on solar go-kart experience we bring to your venue — birthday parties, scout/troop gatherings, community and faith-group events. Kids learn how solar electric power works, build solar go-karts, and race them with our instructors guiding the way.
Is prior experience required?
Not at all. Our instructors guide every child step-by-step, so kids of all experience levels can build, race, and learn at their own pace.
What's included, and what do we provide?
We bring all the build materials, solar go-kart kits, and trained instructors. You provide the space and the group of excited kids — we handle the rest.
How much does it cost and how do we book?
Special events are custom-quoted based on group size, location, and format. Submit a request through our Special Events page (or your Parent Dashboard) and our events team will follow up within 1–2 business days with details and pricing.
How safe are the solar go-karts?
Safety is our top priority. Go-karts are built under close instructor supervision, and races run in a controlled, child-friendly environment.
