The sun is your best friend if you know how to use it! This class teaches how to cook with just the sun. Solar cooking bypasses traditional cooking means. No electricity, gas, charcoal, or wood needed for solar cooking. Students will learn how to cook meals, dry food for preservation, and purify water all with the sun. In the end, students will build their own mini sun oven and take home an edible micro green plant.
● Camp Duration: 4 sessions, each lasting 3 hours (12 hours total).

Your child will learn how to harness solar energy to cook food, purify water, and preserve food. They'll also get hands-on experience building a solar oven and growing micro greens.
Absolutely! All activities are designed with safety in mind. The solar ovens are mini models, and all cooking activities are closely supervised by our experienced instructors.
Just a curious mind and a willingness to learn! All materials and supplies, including the mini solar oven kit and micro greens, are provided.
Yes! One of the exciting parts of the camp is that students get to taste the food they've prepared using solar energy.
